Dan Evans, Inc. d/b/a M & E Honda opened in Bedford, Indiana in 1971. For over 50 years, we've grown with the Bedford community. In addition to new and pre-owned Honda motorcycles, ATVs, and side x sides, you will find Honda and aftermarket parts, gear, and accessories for sale, along with a Honda-trained service center and Honda power equipment for sale.

M & E Honda represents a true American dream story. It was opened in 1971 by Shirley and Dan Evans and then co-owner Jack Mitchell. They built a spacious facility for offering Honda powersports to the people of their native Southern Indiana and eventually, Dan and Shirley became full owners of M & E. When Dan passed over to that great ride in the sky in 1982, Shirley carried on the tradition of selling top quality Honda products to satisfied customers throughout the mid-West.

If you've been to M & E, you've probably met Shirley... From the time Dan passed until Covid struck, Shirley's friendly and honest work ethic set the tone for a positive shopping experience at M & E Honda. While Shirley is now retired, her legacy lives on with her daughter Tammy and son-in-law Bill now steering the ship. We feel much gratitude and respect for all Shirley accomplished over the years.

Shirley and Dan's daughter Tammy and her husband Bill ditched corporate life in Colorado in 2005 and joined the family in their love of offering great Honda products to their community. You can find Bill behind the parts counter and managing our large eBay store while Tammy is now a full partner and the dealer principal of the store.

In 2021, we celebrated our 50th year as a Honda dealership and are excited about many more years of service! As the number one volume Honda dealer in Indiana and the surrounding region, we're here for you for work and play.
